Overview

As more and more of us use our phones to navigate the web, we are working hard to make ReatlyProMLS fully responsive so it is formatted to work with any device without pinching, zooming, or scrolling.  We've started a major upgrade that is expected to take several months (no ETA yet); but in the meantime, here's some info. and tips that will help you navigate the MLS on your smartphones:

Mobile App

For searching properties, finding the status or price of a listing while you are driving the neighborhood, or for linking listings to clients (listing collections). . . download the RealtyProMLS® app from the Apple "App Store" or the Google "Play Store."  If you need to add a showing or a new listing, the best option is still to use an ipad, notepad, or larger screen (i.e. desktop or laptop computer).  If you want to use your smart-phone; however, you can access the "full MLS" from any browser on your phone.  See info. below on how to add a shortcut that allows you to access the MLS from your home screen.

Adding Shortcut to Home Screen

On Apple Device:
  1. Open Safari web browser, and go to the login page:  www.realtypromls.com/login.htm
  2. Before logging in, click on the "Share" icon.
  3. Swipe up from bottom of screen for more options, choose "Add to Home Screen." >
  4. You can rename the shortcut here (example: MLS-Web) then tap: "Add"
  5. You can drag the icon where you want it on your home-screen.
On Android Device:
  1. Open Chrome web browser, and go to the login page:  www.realtypromls.com/login.htm
  2. Before logging in, click on the "3 dots" icon at top right.
  3. Tap: Add to Home Screen
  4. You can rename the shortcut here (example: MLS-Web) then tap: "Add"
  5. You can drag the icon where you want it on your home-screen.

Apple/IOS Tips (Using your phone to add a showing)

Until the responsive upgrade is finished for the ReatlyPro MLS, you can pinch and zoom and drag the MLS screens on your smartphone.  For some reason, IOS is a bit more touchy than android when it comes to dragging screens.  Here's a few tips for using your iphone:
  1. Sometimes, the screen will only drag in one direction.  If you want to go up/down and you accidentally move left/right first it won't let you move up/down.  Carefully tap without moving, then move up/down or left/right depending on the direction you want to drag the screen.
  2. Sometimes the menu-bar at the top of any window (in screen) is not drag-able.  You can tap just above or below the top menu, and the screen drags like you want it to.  Remember tip #1 when dragging.
  3. Sometimes the "type/keyboard" screen is in front of the screen you want to view/drag.  Just tap on any visible part of the screen to remove the keyboard screen.
  4. Pinching to enlarge or reduce the screen size sometimes does not work.  This appears to be related to the tip#1.  Just be careful to not accidentally drag screen before pinching in or out.

Note: We are working on an upgrade to the mobile app which should be available by the first of the year that will allow you to manage showings from the Mobile App.  If you experience any issues or need us to walk you through anything on your phone, call us for support at 1 800 992-8045 or email us to report feedback.  Thanks!  ~Lonny Heaton -- RealtyPro Solutions
